Born in France, in 1972. I live in Bordeaux.

As a self-taught photographer, I like to walk and observe, to let myself be guided both by my state of mind and by what I see. I often think of Henry David Thoreau’s quote: \u00ab\u00a0It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2020, I thought a lot during the pandemic<\/strong>. I decided to change my career. Indeed, I need a new challenge before I get too old. I need to express myself, again<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 13 years I have worked in the service of people. I stepped aside to help them express themselves. As a radio journalist, I have run many radio workshops (with young people, persons with disabilities and elderly or isolated people). A gratifying and useful job but I felt the need to express myself before it’s too late<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was lost<\/strong>, I didn’t know where I was going. I felt cramped, I no longer believed in what I was doing and in myself. A decision needed to be made<\/strong>. Then, I decided to become a professional artist photographer<\/a>. A risky but necessary choice. I need it to be at one with myself. To feel free, alive, again<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, photo is a mirror or a window, often both<\/strong>. There is always a part of me in my artworks. It’s a real means of creation, expression and sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
